With the loss of loved ones often comes the inheritance of the family album. Favourite photographs are resurrected or even discovered anew. Personal response to the imagery gives them a new dimension, depth and context.
Adding a photograph and re-creating it’s context is very powerful. Allowing the wax to seep through layers and create nuances not easily achieved digitally.
Hi, I’m just starting out in encaustic photography, and would love to do a course with you. Are u going to be doing any this year post this covid lockdown? Many thanks, kerry
Hi Lyn,
I’d love to come to do a course with you on encaustic wax - if possible on 12th November (Mon). I’m a London-based photographer and keen to find ways to add texture to my photography. I’m a novice to this type of material, having previously experimented with resins.
I look forward to your reply!
Best,
Nina
